Blocks

Block building toys provide a low-tech option that offers hours of open-ended fun, both for children playing solitary or with others.

Many neurodivergent people enjoy kits such as Lego and Duplo because they offer the ability to complete a project, are tactile, and repetitive.

Playing with blocks sets such as Duplo & LEGO or constructing structures from traditional wooden blocks teaches children problem solving, spatial and planning skills while also building fine motor skills and improving concentration.  Studies have shown people with Autism find block building helps with creativity, self-confidence, focus and concentration.
