Description
Sometimes, keeping it simple is best. We have combined 4 classic card games into 1 bundle for full family enjoyment (and money savings)
Old Maid – Players try to avoid being “stuck” with the unpaired card in the deck. To play, gather at least one friend, prepare your deck, and learn the rules. Once you’ve gotten the basics down, you can tweak the rules to keep things exciting!
This Old Maid deck distinguishes her from many other characters identified by their interesting occupations. Great career exploration that is fun to play.
Go Fish – Do you have any lobsters? Or angelfish? This variation of a child’s first card game uses underwater creatures to keep the game going swimmingly.
With 11 different sea creatures to pick fun, this early childhood card game can be enjoyed for hours. No partner to play with? That’s o.k. they can use the cards as a memory matching game.
Snap – Dealer deals the cards out as evenly as possible to all players. Each player turns over their top card, when someone turns over a card that matches a card already face up on another player’s pile, players race to be the first to call “SNAP”. First to call Snap wins both piles and add them to the bottom of their face down pile. The goal is to win all the cards.
Crazy 8’s – Deal 5 cards one at a time, face down, beginning with the player to the left. The balance of the pack is placed face down in the center of the table and forms the stock. The dealer turns up the top card and places it in a separate pile; this card is the “starter.” If an eight is turned, it is buried in the middle of the pack and the next card is turned.
The Play Starting to the dealer’s left, each player must place one card face up on the starter pile. Each card played (other than an eight) must match the card showing on the starter pile, either in suit or in denomination. Remember all eights are wild! The goal is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand.
